Nuclear Okra – Acoustic Duo

Nuclear Okra is a new and exciting Oklahoma based flute & guitar duo featuring longtime local favorites, Larry Hammett and Miranda Arana. Both artists are faculty members of the University of Oklahoma. They draw on extensive experience and their mastery of a wide variety of musical styles (renaissance, jazz, flamenco, Latin, Balkan, classical, folk) to weave a musical tapestry of exotic and familiar sounds, infused with exciting improvisation and original compositions. They have performed locally, nationally, and internationally, most recently at music festivals in Greece and Spain.

Art Moves is an Arts Council OKC initiative that provides free arts events in downtown OKC each work day from Noon-1:00. Events may include artist demonstrations or musical performances, and take place in various downtown locations. The daily line-up features a wide range of artistic mediums including musical and theater performances, live art demonstrations, short film selections, and more!
