His first EP titled, “Hard to Find” dropped in February 2021  with his second radio single, “One Helluva Summer” debuting as the highest-charting track for week one on the T3R Charts.  Opening for artists such as Randall King, Sam Riggs, Corey Kent, Cody Hibbard, Husser Brothers & more, he is growing & beginning to cut his own path in the Texas Music Scene.

Johnny worked in the oil & gas industry for nearly 14 years before stepping out into the music scene. “I’m always gonna be that blue-collar boy from Oklahoma, but life and people have a funny way of pushing you to do something you’ve known you were created to do. My goal as a writer and artist is to stay humble and continue putting out great content. There’s always someone out there willing to listen, relate and share what you’re putting down, and I’m thankful that I’ve found more than just a few.”

The Johnny Woods Band- Johnny Woods (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Rich Gilliland (bass), Jeff Hall (drums), Parker Selby (lead guitar) and Lauren Lee (fiddle).
