Art Moves, Presented by Devon, Gives a Sneak Peek at New Gallery Art

OKLAHOMA CITY – Visitors to Thursday's Art Moves, presented by Devon, will get a special sneak preview before the official opening of an art exhibit.

Free Event for Teaching Artists

The Arts Council of Oklahoma City presents the latest session of Teaching Artist Toolbox focused on older adults.

On Tuesday, Jan. 31, the Arts Council of Oklahoma City is presenting a session called “Creative Aging” focused on bringing the arts to seniors. Different metro arts programs will be highlighted and discussed regarding the benefits of focusing programs toward seniors.

Art Moves, to Feature Renowned Red Earth Artist

A Native American storyteller and artist will be discussing his work Thursday at Art Moves, presented by Devon, a program of the Arts Council of Oklahoma City.

Gordon Yellowman is an El Reno artist and story teller. He will be demonstrating his drawing techniques, presenting samples of his artwork on a full buffalo hide and discussing Native American history. The discussion will be at noon in the Chase Tower lobby.
