Youth Art Sale

The Youth Art Sale is a one-day juried art sale for children ages 8 – 18 held during Festival of the Arts. The event is located on the east lawn of City Hall on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., where Oklahoma’s emerging artists will display and sell their artwork. 

Selected artists must design and make all work, and all work must be original. Artists must personally be present at their booths during the entire event, representatives, including family members, may NOT attend in place of the artist and all artists must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Only items as represented in submitted photographs with the application may be displayed. For example, if photos of jewelry are submitted, you may not sell sculptures that were not submitted.

Booth spaces will be 3′ x 5′ in size and artists must provide all display materials including tables, chairs, or panels, as well as cash boxes and/or credit card readers. Artists may keep all of their proceeds. However, we encourage young artists to consider giving back to the community by donating a portion of their proceeds to Arts Council Oklahoma City’s Teen Arts Council program.

If selected, artists will receive additional information documentation regarding the requirements and permissions needed to officially participate in the sale.

The following are absolutely prohibited:

• Work made from kits: direct copies of others’ pre-existing art
• The direct use of licensed, trademarked, or copyrighted characters or names
• Providing services such as face painting, hair braiding, flower arranging, on-site personalization or food sales
• Commercial advertisements of any kind
