Peter Markes – Live-Looping Violinist
For over fifteen years, Peter Markes (pronounced Marcus) enjoyed a highly successful career as a classroom music educator and performing folk musician. Markes performs full time with the band, Kyle Dillingham & Horseshoe Road. As a lifelong classically and folk trained violinist and hobby guitarist, Markes has had the chance to perform with musical partner, Kyle Dillingham in nearly thirty countries in North, Central, and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Join us for this special performance!
Art Moves is an Arts Council OKC initiative that provides free arts events in downtown OKC each workday from Noon-1:00. Events may include artist demonstrations or musical performances, and take place in various downtown locations. The daily line-up features a wide range of artistic mediums including musical and theater performances, live art demonstrations, short film selections, and more!
