An Oklahoma native, Amanda Cunningham began playing guitar, writing songs and performing in Stillwater, Oklahoma while attending Oklahoma State University. After graduation she went on to make her first cd of original music and won the Oklahoma City Gazette’s Woody Award for Best Singer Songwriter. After a short stay in Tulsa and winning Red Dirt Female Vocalist of the Year, Amanda made the leap to Austin, Texas where she learned about her craft, toured from California to Nashville and recorded a cd entitled EP ’05 with Screen Door Music.
Amanda is currently playing shows throughout Oklahoma, and Texas promoting her latest album “Run”.
