Jeremy Rowe Band to perform during the 2026 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships

As athletes, coaches, and spectators arrive in Oklahoma City for the 2026 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships, they will experience not only world-class competition but also the music, creativity, and hospitality that define our city.

Arts Council OKC is excited to contribute to this international celebration through its Art Moves program. On Monday, July 20, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., the Jeremy Rowe Band will perform their unique blend of Red Dirt country, rock, and Americana on the Route 66 Stage at RIVERSPORT. The inclusion of live local music helps create a more complete experience for visitors while recognizing the arts as an essential part of Oklahoma City’s cultural landscape.

This kind of activation is a natural fit for Arts Council OKC.

For 60 years, Festival of the Arts has transformed downtown public spaces into welcoming destinations filled with visual art, live performance, food, and shared experiences. Festival has taught generations of organizers, volunteers, and community partners how creativity can expand to meet the scale of the moment while still feeling personal and distinctly Oklahoma City. That same experience guides the Art Moves program today.

Art Moves brings professional artists into office towers, museums, parks, plazas, and community events throughout the year. The program is intentionally adaptable, allowing performances to complement everything from an ordinary lunch hour to an international championship.

As Oklahoma City continues to grow as a destination for major sporting, entertainment, and cultural events, expectations surrounding the visitor experience will grow with it. Audiences increasingly look for authentic local culture amidst the primary event. Arts Council Oklahoma City is well positioned to meet that demand, ensuring Oklahoma artists are present wherever our community gathers.

Arts Council OKC is grateful to RIVERSPORT and the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships for recognizing the arts as part of this important occasion. As Oklahoma City welcomes the world, we are proud to help tell our story through local music and the shared experience of live performance.
