Wednesday at Festival!

April 25, 2018

Festival is in full swing! Join us at Bicentennial Park as our six day celebration of visual, culinary and performing arts continues! Feeling inspired by all of the artists at Festival? You can be an artist too!

At Pottery Place, located at the corner of Walker and Couch, Collin Rosebrook and the artisans  of Paseo Pottery will help you select, glaze and fire your very own pot or vase. Learn about the ancient technique of raku firing as you create a one of a kind work of art.

Want to channel your inner Jackson Pollock? This year, Creation Station offers children and adults the opportunity to participate in a free, larger-than-life work of art. This communal project involves fireworks, paint, and a whole lot of fun—it’s guaranteed to be a blast!

Whether your browsing Artist’s Square, sampling a delectable treat from the Culinary Arts Demonstration stage, or enjoying a performance by your favorite local musician, inspiration abounds at Festival of the Arts. We can’t wait to see what you create—share your masterpiece on social media and tag us @artscouncilokc and #OKCFA!
