Today’s Festival Highlights

If you haven’t made it to the 51st Festival of the Arts yet then don’t miss out on what is happening today! Four days into Festival and still going strong! There’s something for everyone to enjoy at the Festival of the Arts from culinary, performing and visual art!

On Friday, come by the culinary demonstration tent at 2:00 p.m. for a lesson in cooking from Mahogany Prime Steakhouse. Mahogany Prime Steakhouse is famous for their broiled to perfection, corn-fed steaks and other seaside entrees. If you’re still feeling hungry after that, then explore our numerous food vendors! You might want to check out I Don’t Know and I Don’t Care for something tasty. I Don’t Know and I Don’t Care started in 2015 from Guthrie, OK. They came up with their name from frequently saying “I don’t know” or “I don’t care” when being asked what you wanted to eat. Either way, you can’t go wrong with their food! I Don’t Know and I Don’t Care will be serving Beef & Blue Sandwich, Chocolate Chili Almound Burger, Loaded Chips and Quinoa Kale Salad.

If you are joining us in the evening at festival then be sure at catch at least one of our performing artists. Shortt Dogg, the local soulful harmony R&B group, will be performing at the Couch Stage at 7:30 p.m. On the Colcord Stage, you can find the classic rock artist, Uncle Zep performing at 7:30 p.m. Also at 7:30, performing at the Main Stage is Kyle Dillingham and Horseshoe Road. Kyle Dillingham and Horseshoe Road are a bluegrass, Americana band with high energy and a passion for music. Don’t miss out on these exciting performances!
