Festival of the Arts is fun for the whole family! There are so many things to see and do-from family friendly food, performances, art demonstrations, and more. If you’re family is heading down to Festival this weekend, make sure to check out these family favorites!
Face Painting with the Bricktown Clowns
Already a festival family favorite, this year’s Face Painting area will include intricate full face designs by the Bricktown Clowns. The cost is $1 for a simple design by Festival volunteers and $5-$15 for more elaborate designs and airbrush work.
Youth Art Sale
The Youth Art Sale is a one-day juried art sale held on Saturday, April 29th 2017, from 11AM to 5PM. YAS features young artists working in diverse media including painting, photography, and two- and 3- dimensional art. The Youth Art Sale provides an opportunity for youth to showcase and sell their work in a venue comparable to that of professional artists at Festival of the Arts.
Spaghetti Eddie Performance
Spaghetti Eddie will be rocking the Colcord stage on Saturday, April 29th, 2017. Known for their ability to engage and entertain kids and parents alike, you can’t miss this live performance by one of OKC’s most popular kids band.
