The Raul Reyes Quartet – Jazz Quartet

In 2017, Cuba-born bassist Raul Reyes graduated from UCO, OKC’s top jazz school. During 4 years of undergrad, he ascended not only to the top band at his school, but he was also one of the most highly sought-after bass players in OKC. Everyone wanted Raul in their band.

Flash-forward a few months, Raul is finishing the first semester of his Master’s in Jazz Performance at the highly-competitive University of North Texas (in Denton), widely considered one of the top jazz programs in the world. Because the faculty and student body at UNT is so accomplished and driven, one semester at North Texas can take a musician to a whole new level of skill. As a result, OKC’s jazz scene was thrilled to have him back!
