Katelynn Noel Knick is a painter, sculptor, arts advocate and a lover of the abstract, the messy, and the strange.

Inspired by abstract expressionism, DIY techniques, and daydreaming, she use color combinations, mark-making, and movement to explore the idea of space.

Born in Tulsa, OK. Currently living and creating in Oklahoma City, OK. Katelynn received her BFA in Painting and Sculpture from the University of Oklahoma in 2015. She recently attended a workshop at Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass, CO and traveled on a two week roadtrip through the west exploring land art sites. Her work has been exhibited at MAINSITE Contemporary Art, IAO Gallery, Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art, Casp 5 & J Gallery.

Art Moves is an Arts Council OKC initiative that provides free arts events in downtown OKC each workday from noon to 1:00. Events may include artist demonstrations or musical performances and take place in various downtown locations. The daily line-up features a wide range of artistic media, including musical and theater performances, live art demonstrations, short film selections, and more!
