Teen Arts Council
The Teen Arts Council is an All Access Arts program with the of mission “bringing the arts and teens together.”
During the school year, a small number of teens are selected to help organize arts events, participate in workshops, and visit a variety of exhibits, performances, and installations. Members are also given volunteer opportunities and behind-the-scenes access to certain events. The team of students meet bi-monthly starting in September and ending in May with an annual arts advocacy effort designed and implemented by council members.
The Teen Arts Council supports our goals of increasing awareness of arts in Oklahoma City community, building leadership experience, increasing participation in a variety of art forms and opportunities, and encouraging volunteerism in the next generation of Oklahoma City’s art leaders.
