The Teen Advisory Council is a wonderful way teens interested in the arts to engage in service learning opportunities. As part of the Community Arts Program at the Arts Council, the Teen Advisory Committee is an arts education program. Members participate in art and leadership activities, visit art exhibits around the city, meet with local artists and Arts Council staff, and host their own exhibit.

Teen Advisory Council
We are looking for a committed group of creative and passionate individuals between the ages of 14-18 years old with a GPA of 2.75 or higher in the Oklahoma county area to share ideas and engage with the community through creativity and art.
During the semester, the Teen Advisory Council organizes art events and participates in performances and workshops. Exciting volunteer opportunities and behind-the-scenes Arts Council meetings are just some of the perks.
The team of students will meet bi-monthly during the school year. Students will meet arts community leaders and broaden their knowledge of art opportunities in central Oklahoma. Members will create and coordinate teen cultural events at monthly meetings, and participation will count towards volunteer credits.
