This year's South Hudson Gallery features a brand new exhibit called "5x5," offering a gathering of talent not often found in one place.
"5x5" will feature five works by five of Oklahoma's most popular artists and past Festival favorites, including ink and watercolor artist Greg Burns; etching and printmaker Victoria Elbroch; Chickasaw painter and sculptor Mike Larsen; painter, sculptor, graphic artist and muralist Jean Richardson and contemporary painter and sculptor B.J. White. All pieces will be available for purchase. The South Hudson Gallery will offer in-tent seating, imported beers, and cappuccino.
The east lawn of Stage Center will be a garden of large sculptural works. The Sculpture Park is co-curated by Julia Kirt, director of the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition, Clint Howard, owner of the Deep in the Heart Foundry, and Scott Hicks, president of the Shidoni Foundry. Deep in the Heart Foundry will coordinate a night of bronze pouring each evening during Festival.
