Community Arts Programs
Play in the Park
Once again this summer, the Arts Council of Oklahoma City is pleased to work with the City of Oklahoma City to present arts programming to youth at 19 Play in the Park sites across the city.
This year, 17 sites will host performers including jugglers, storytellers, musicians, clowns, and much more. In addition, eight sites will host teaching artists for hands-on instruction in a variety of art forms. All classes begin the week of June 22 and continue until the week of August 7. Performances take place July 13 through July 31. There will be no classes or performances the week of July 4.
Community Arts Programs are made possible with the assistance of the Oklahoma Arts Council, the National Endowment for the Arts, the City of Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation Department and a host of other generous partners.
Schedules are posted below. For more information call Jennifer Barron, Community Arts Programs Director, at 405.270.4848.
