Since 1967, the Festival of the Arts has been Oklahoma City's rite of spring. The Festival is a community celebration of the visual arts, performing arts and culinary arts.
The 2008 Festival of the Arts takes place April 22-27, 2008 in Downtown Oklahoma City at the Festival Plaza, Stage Center and the Myriad Botanical Gardens. Hours are Tuesday – Saturday 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday 11a.m.-6 p.m. Admission is free. Pets are not allowed.

Thanks to everyone who came to Opening Night 2008! About 68,000 rang in the New Year with us at Kerr Park.

WinterTales Storytelling Festival

Be part of the 27th WinterTales Storytelling Festival in Downtown Oklahoma City as we celebrate the art of storytelling. WinterTales features music, stories, and workshops.
Community Arts
The Arts Council of Oklahoma City’s Community Arts Programs serve central Oklahoma‘s growing need for arts education by providing educational arts projects that support the overall cognitive, social, and creative development of youth.
Community Arts Programs focus on bringing the arts to under-served audiences, particularly, children who have been identified as “at risk” due to their economic status, exposure to substance abuse, violence, or those with physical and mental challenges.
2008 Sunday Twilight Concerts
Plans are currently underway for the 2008 concert season. Concerts are Sunday evenings from 7:00-8:30 pm, beginning June 1st. All concerts will take place at the Myriad Botanical Gardens in Downtown Oklahoma City.
Out of the Box
Street Performers Program
On a busy day or night in Downtown Oklahoma City and Bricktown, you'll often be entertained by street performances, thanks to Out of the Box. The Arts Council’s newest program, Out of the Box cultivates street performance art while enhancing the quality of life and cultural atmosphere of Downtown Oklahoma City.
