Congratulations Festival of the Arts volunteers on another successful event! Festival exemplifies the Arts Council’s mission of bringing the arts and the community together and we couldn’t do it without the support of our fabulous volunteers. What a great year! Festival blended perfectly with the new look of downtown and the newly renovated Myriad Gardens. Once again, festival featured delicious culinary masterpieces, remarkable fine arts, and extraordinary performing arts!
A big THANKS to our event co-chairs, Ray Bitsche and Kym Mason. Ray and Kym worked tirelessly to produce one of the best events to date. They remained flexible and open-minded during a year of great change. Ray and Kym were responsible for the new Youth Art Sale event during festival. Young artists were given the opportunity to sale their original art at Festival. This is surely something that will be exciting to watch grow into an essential element at OKC’s favorite community event. Your 2012 co-chairs, Tom Walsh and Sue Hale, are busy planning next year’s event and we are looking forward to another celebrated Festival of the Arts!
