The Arts Council of Oklahoma City’s Community Arts Program serves central Oklahoma‘s growing need for arts education by providing educational arts projects that support the overall cognitive, social, and creative development of youth.

Community Arts Program focuses on bringing the arts to under-served audiences, particularly, children who have been identified as “at risk” due to their economic status, exposure to substance abuse, violence, or those with physical and mental challenges.

Community Arts Program includes: Arts After School, Special Populations, Neighborhood Arts, Play in the Park arts programs and GEAR UP.

Community Arts Program is made possible with the assistance of Allied Arts, Oklahoma Arts Council and National Endowment for the Arts.
