Arts Council of Oklahoma City Names New Board Members

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Arts Council of Oklahoma City announced its 2011-2012 fiscal year Board of Directors today.

The officers are: Gary Marrs, president; Michael Palmer, vice president; Kati Christ, treasurer; Cynthia Reid, secretary; and Sue Hale, past president.

New board members are: Ilana Davis and Travis Mason. Davis, an associate attorney with Robertson and Williams, has been a volunteer day chair for the Festival of the Arts art sales treasury. Mason, the managing director for Commercial Oklahoma/Cushman & Wakefield, has volunteered for Festival of the Arts the past 10 years, and has most recently served as day chair on the 2011 production committee.

“I’m so excited about the new and unique perspectives our most recent board members will bring to the table,” said Peter Dolese, Executive Director for the Arts Council of Oklahoma City. “Our board is comprised of some of the finest professionals in OKC and our new additions exemplify the level of excellence we depend on to help us achieve our mission!”

Returning board members are: Daniel Adams, Kati Christ, Chuck Cohn, Phil Clayton, W. David Cottrell, Mary Ellen Gumerson, Sue Hale, Nancy K. Hall, Diana Hampton, Larry Hawkins, Joe Hodges, Dudley Hyde, Eric Joiner, Diane Joy-Sisemore, Connie Mashburn, Catherine O’Connor, Michael Palmer, Cynthia Reid, Lynn Robberson, Renee G. Shaffer, Deby Snodgrass, Kym Koch Thompson, Dan Wallace and Mary Whitson.
