Activities

The Festival is full of fun things to see and do.

The Creation Station lets everyone create a work of art.  Children and adults can participate in this larger-than-life, interactive art exhibit.  Be sure to stop by more than once so you can see the piece change.  Creation Station is free, and is located at the northwest corner of the Myriad Gardens.

The Arts After School Student Gallery features artwork made by children across the city in the Arts Council of Oklahoma City's Arts After School program. The tent is located in the Youth Plaza, on the east side of the Myriad Gardens.

At the Children's Art Field children can complete three art projects-Spirit Sticks, Mosaic Art, and Masks- for a $2 fee. This tent is located in the Youth Plaza on the east side of the Myriad Gardens.

Festival would not be the same without Face Painting! This popular attraction is located at the north end of the Crystal Bridge. The cost is $1.

At the Young-at-Art Mart Festival artists sell original works of art priced from $.50 to $5. This unique area is open to children 12 and under, and is located in the Youth Plaza on the east side of the Myriad Gardens.

Another popular attraction is Pottery Place. Collin Rosebrook and the artisans of Paseo Pottery assist children and adults in selecting, creating, and firing a pot or vase using the ancient Oriental technique of RAKU. Prices range from $5 to $50.
